Abstract Selection Criteria
- Abstract should be submitted before the due deadline.
- The category and sub-category should clearly be mentioned on the cover page of the abstract.
- Abstract will be selected by respective judges, on the basis of:
- Originality.
- Feasibility.
- Relevance with the subject.
The decision of the judges would be final and no request will be entertained in this regard.
Judging Criteria for Finals
- Originality (25%)
- Presentation (15%)
- Format (5%)
- Understanding of submitted paper (25%)
- Understanding of Fundamentals (15%)
- Efforts (15%)
Note: Each individual in a team is judged separately on criteria ii, iv and v. Team’s score would be calculated based on every members performance.
Event Information and Rules
- Maximum of two students per team is allowed.
- Seven minutes for presentation, one minute for conclusion and 2 minutes for question/answer will be allotted to each team.
- Any extension in the allotted time may result in the loss of points.
Paper Rules
- Presentation and paper should strictly be in English only.
- Judges decision will be the final decision and no further consideration will be done.
Eligibility
All students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes are eligible to participate in the event.
Abstract Deadline
Abstract should be submitted before 30th March 2008. Only 10 best entries will be selected to present their paper.
